AMG Medical Institute MRI Technologist program is designed to prepare students for a career in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). MRI Technologists are integral members of the allied health community who specialize in MRI technologies to visualize and interpret the internal structures of the human body. They continually interact with patients, radiologists, and other medical staff.

Comprehensive Training

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Education prepares its graduates for employment in magnetic resonance imaging by providing a learning experience in (classroom, lab, and clinical) that parallels the skills and level of competency necessary to function as an entry-level MRI Technologist. Graduates demonstrate the ability to think critically and effectively communicate with patients and other medical professionals. MRI Technologists operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners, monitor patient safety and comfort, explain the procedure, conduct quality control, and maintain patient records. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a systematic process that offers opportunities for students to acquire the psychomotor, cognitive, and affective behaviors required of a registered sonographer to provide safe, effective patient care in the lab and clinical settings.
