Graduates demonstrate the ability to think critically and effectively communicate with patients and other medical professionals. MRI Technologists operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners, monitor patient safety and comfort, explain the procedure, conduct quality control, and maintain patient records. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a systematic process that offers opportunities for students to acquire the psychomotor, cognitive, and affective behaviors required of a registered sonographer to provide safe, effective patient care in the lab and clinical settings.
